This list is divided in 5 major categories: Playful mind, Clear throat, Relaxed heart, Melancholic guts, and Whole body. Such fancy categories describe where the music is felt. First and last item on each category is tactically placed to bridge between categories... Or maybe everything is.
Playful mind
My original idea was to start with the "Relaxed heart" category to ease the ear slowly into more complex sounds, but lets make this healing journey interesting. This category includes the fun, brighter and busier (at least mentally) sounds on this list. Basically candy for the mind. You can listen to this during tasks that demand concentration, since it takes one into a trance, but probably will make it hard to perform tasks that require language, given such organic patterns and melodies, so it's a good idea to use it for creative tasks, since it brings a great mood, easiness and openness.
Clear throat
You will get why I gave that name to this category right when you hit play. The clicks, cuts and melodies talk for the listener, since they are felt in the throat. The beats don't reach the lower part of the body, somehow... And, yet somehow, the sustaining elements don't fill the stomach, don't feel quite emotional, yet still moves our being as if trying to adjust it, like a well said sentence in the systematic, cold realm of language. Melodious, playfully rhythmic and atmospheric electronic music, mostly techno with lots of crisp breaks, works one's speech - even if just internally - and leaves one with a sensation of clarity.
Relaxed heart
Beats that make it lower towards the heart. Way more relaxing, felt between the rational playing of the throat and the emotional working of the guts. The center of centers, in complete harmony with the other centers, adjusted to the right pace. Neither reason or emotion can infiltrate into this balanced, sacred place. Relaxing, mindless beats and refreshing atmospheres. You won't even want to think about anything, you will just breathe and exist.
Melancholic guts
Right in the second brain, you will feel these highly emotional tunes. This music has a so low pace and energy, that I would like to compare it to its contrary: the "Clear throat" category. It's not that this category lacks a clarity effect, it's just that, instead of creating ideas, it is releasing them in the form of emotions. This is actually liberating, draining, cleaning. It is mostly when I listen to this kind of music that I realize the wonderful, magic power of music. When you realize all of this, what you feel in your stomach travels around your whole body, taking the practical form of a soul.
Whole body
You have worked your energy down to this point only to set it free. That energy comes from a whole window of time full of happenings with all sorts of stimuli that generated and reflected a whole universe of different judgements and feelings, and you even repressed some of them. But the sum of it all is not really you, neither the surplus of it... You gotta release, but first you gotta synthesize it all.
Synthesis
Music to give coherence to the chaos inside. These tunes, like the remaining ones, are felt at different parts of the body at once.
Preparation
Once you have built yourself, drop. Loopy music that gets you into a machinic trance, overwhelms you with memories of what life has come to mean, and brings easiness for the further disposal of yourself - for your symbolic death.
Release
You're finally not there, or rather you finally are not. Music to get free from all you worked up inside. You can finally rest(ore).
You can now live on, afresh. Stay healthy, be nice to yourself and others, be transparent, keep lucidity, do your best in everything, and enjoy!
